* Gram flour(Kadalapodi) - 1 1/4 cup 
* Allpurpose flour(Maida) - 1 1/4 cup 
* Ghee - 250 gm 
* Sugar - 2 1/2 cups 
* Water - 1 1/2 cup 
* Milk - 2 tbsp 
* Cardamom seeds(Elakka) - 1/2 tsp 
1)Sieve both flours together.

2)Heat ghee in a pan.

3)Add flour mixture and roast on low heat till light golden.

4)Keep aside to cool a little, stirring occasionally.

5)Boil water and sugar together and bring the syrup to 2 1/2 thread consistency.

6)Pour this immediately into the flour mixture.

7)Beat well with a large fork till the mixture forms thread like flakes.

8)Pour onto a greased surface or thali and roll to 1" thickness lightly.

9)Sprinkle cardamom seeds and gently press down with your palm.

10)Cool and cut into squares.

:- Store in an air tight container.
