Welcome to KDT's 2021 Fall Session! In order to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn in their preferred setting, we will be introducing a hybrid of in-person and online learning this year. In addition to in-person opportunities at our St. Louis Park studio, all students based in Minnesota will have the option of learning via Zoom if they so choose, and students out of state are welcome to Zoom in from any location.

A few important things to note: masks must be worn by anyone in the studio at all times, regardless of one's vaccination status, and proof of vaccination will be required for all in-person students over the age of 12. Further, all in-person students are required to abide by our safety measures and code of conduct, as well as sign this waiver.

As always, KDT's Fall session will both introduce new students to the fundamentals of classical Kathak dance with a focus on its technique, terminology, and execution of dance syllables along with elements of storytelling. It will also help returning students build upon their established technique and skill level as they advance their ability in the classroom.

Kathak is so much more than a dance style. It promotes artistic expression and creativity; increases flexibility, agility, and grace; establishes strong mind-body connections and coordination; and provides important cultural context and knowledge. It is also adaptable to any skill level––all dancers over the age of 6 are welcome!

New adult students are invited to join our Adult 1A Beginner class on Tuesday nights from 8 - 9 pm CT. Children's 1A Beginner classes will take place on Saturday mornings from 9 - 10 am CT. All students are welcome to learn via Zoom, but Minnesota-based students may learn in-studio if they prefer.

How to enroll:

Enrollment is a multi-step process: first, fill out a registration form and second, make a tuition payment. We also ask that in-person students read our code of conduct and sign the waiver located here.
