Do your feet tap every time you listen to a Bollywood number? Do you have a dance prodigy at home waiting to showcase his/her talent? Or maybe you are like most of the Indians who do not need a reason to start dancing. Whatever your reason might be, here is your chance to give your dancing talent the stage it deserves.
Welcome to one of its kind amateur dance competition, "Who says Pappu can't dance? " organized by  AID-MN  on the 23rd November at the Saint Paul Student Center.
The best thing about the competition is no rules apply. You can present any form of dance ranging from Bhangra, Lavani to foot tapping Bollywood dance numbers. Our motto is just to showcase you talent and have fun together!!

We have 4 groups for the competition
1. Solo - 14 yrs and below
2. Group - 14 yrs and below
3. Solo - Above 14 yrs
4. Group - Above 14 yrs

Group dance will include two or more dancers; however, there will be a special prize for the best couple of the competition.
Each participant/team will get 8 mins to perform.

Registration fees -  $10 for solo dance and $20 for group dance.
Last day for registration: November 2, 2008

All the money collected through this competition will go as donation to AID-MN.  AID-MN is a Minnesota-based chapter of Association for India's Development, a worldwide NGO working for developmental projects in India.   Please refer http://www.aidindia.org/main/ for more information about AID.
