The one and only living legend of Kathak dance, Padma Vibhushan
(India's Highest Civilian Award) recipient PANDIT BIRJU MAHARAJ
and his company will reunite with Grammy Award-winning tabla
virtuoso USTAD ZAKIR HUSSAIN for one night only at the
O'Shaughnessy this September 16th.

The legendary artists will celebrate their respective traditions,
informing one another with the pirouettic spins, percussive
footwork, and complex rhythms that have captivated sold-out
audiences from New Delhi to Carnegie Hall. PANDIT BIRJU MAHARAJ
will also be conducting a week-long Kathak intensive during the
week of the performance. To join the Kathak workshops conducted
